I just spent 200$ on a sound investmen ........on a new radar... Bell 895 my baby keeps me outta trouble ....... best radar for under 200$ i would recomend gettin one saves some money in tickets

 

you mean radar detector. why would you want a radar?

 

It might keep you out of trouble until you get daring and cocky with it. When your detector goes nuts while you're doing 80 in a 45, it's not going to do you a damn bit of good.

People think radar detectors are a substitute for sane driving. It's merely a tool. I use it to know when I'm being clocked, and I rarely hit more than 5-10 over, with 10 over being a rarity.

 

heh.. the only time i do even 10 over is on the highway.

 

plus radar dectectors dont do you a bit of good when they are timing your speed from point a to point b from an airplane. that is how i got my first ticket, i was pulled over while not speeding, and the cop told me that an airplane 3 miles back timed me going 15 over...bad news.

 

yeah the radar detector only saves you when the cops have the radar gun on consistently

when they turn it off and on (sitting in the median of the interstate) then they have you dead to rights.

IMHO I wouldn't have another bird dog
the one I had was way too sensitive it went off when I was by certain stores
the automatic door openers set mine off plus their alarm systems.

mine didn't save me it made me a nervous wreck! LOL
