Default hoist points

hey everyone!

did some searching and the only hoist points i found that were suggested is to take the intake off and use the intake bolts to hoist/ chain an engine support bar. anyone do it differently? are the runners for the intake strong enough for that? Im using an engine support bar to hold up the engine while i switch k-members, so just wanted to see if anyone knows or has experience with this. thanks!

I'd use the exhaust manifold bolts. Take one on each side out and go front to back across the top of the engine. I used the manifold bolts to pull the motor and auto tranny out of a Lincoln LSC with a 302 and they were fine. So you'll be good.
