Default Running Rough... sometimes?

Alright, so my car recently has been running rough from time to time. Also the idle has been kind of spastic, going from sitting at 300 rpm's to sitting at 1200.

when it starts running rough for about 5 to 8 seconds the car seems like its bogging down, you can kind of hear it. then after that it seems for run fine. It's very random might start doing it every five minutes or every few days. same goes for the idle but it seems to do it more often

I have Codes P0153 P1132. I know for a fact my drivers side O2 needs replaced it's slightly melted off the headers, which I'm fixing in about a week or two.

Any advice would be very helpful

Definitely your o2 sensor.

Swap that out and it should be back to normal!

If you do swap and are still having trouble, shoot an email bama@americanmuscle.com or call 888-226-9764 to have our Tuning Specialists examine your calibration to make sure everything is A-okay!

I hope this helps!

Good luck!

Let me know if you have any questions in the future!

Alright, well I got a new O2 on the drivers side (passengers side is new aswell about 6 months old), now the codes has changed to P0153 and I forget the code but its for the bank 1

The car is acting the same, How would I have bama examine your calibration?
The tuner came with the car, at the moment I don't have a account with them, while I do plan on changing that when I get the money for a new cam put in ^^

I have the original owners name and bama board thing tho.

I was told this could be the tps or a vaccume/exhaust leak.

If the fluctuating RPM's persist, take a look around at the vacuum lines around the egr and outwards. They're multicolored, banded together in that black sheathing and they are real brittle and crack easily. Good luck-

It definitely could be related to the TPS and or vacuum lines/system.

If you didn't originally buy the tune/tuner, you'll need to buy into our free tunes for life program. Shoot me a PM with your phone number and a good time to call you tomorrow and I can have one of our Tuning Specialists call you directly.

Have a great night!
