Default BBK Lowering Springs

Some kid's Mom is selling her sons BBK lowering Springs on Craigslist for $80.

I'm going to meet her tomorrow for them. She claims they've never been put on because her son had to sell the car due to financial difficultly.

What are some things I should be looking out for to make sure I'm not getting the shaft.

Is there anything that would identify them as genuine BBK on the springs themselves?

I'm curious why the mother would be selling them rather than the son..? But then again it could be for a multitude of reasons..

I'd say just make sure they aren't used by inspecting for wear and tear of any kind. I haven't seen actual BBK springs but I would assume they are stamped with a brand name or logo somewhere on the springs.

Good luck!

85$ for all of them. Looks legit to me

It was funny seeing this mom pull up in the Mustang GT Blacked-Out tinted windows.

I went to a shop to ask about them putting it in, and the guy looked up in his computer... $264 just for the front... Hell No!!!

So I'm gonna put them in on my own probably this weekend. Question: Is a rear sway bar worth it? I got offered a brand new Steeda REAR Sway bar for 80$. Same Owner.

Also, does anyone have any before/after pics for lowering springs that show a noticeable difference, they're 1.5"

Yes a rear sway is worth it. But you can get one from any GT 1979-2004 and it will work just fine from a junk yard for like $20. I got mine off a 85 Fox GT for $18 at my local pick-a-part and huge improvment.
