Default 20" wheels to replace 18" wheels

Well... 3 months ago I ran over a steep manhole causing my car slide into a curb... I thought I blew a tire out it was raining and it was too dark to tell. The following mourning I got up and check the damage and it wasn't a blown tire both of my passenger side wheels are toast the tires are fine no damage at all. One wheel the whole center piece ripped all the way off it leaving the base of the wheel in the tire. The other wheel was bent in a upward angle on the inside. I still have my OEM wheels which was miracle because I was planning on selling them and I couldn't the car around with damaging anything else.

Instead of buying 2 new wheels can I buy some 20x9 wheels for it. They the same design and I know the offset does not match up, but that shouldn't make much of a difference right? I found Cruzin Concepts site website that has replacement wheels that I need as far the 18's are concerned but I like these better. If there is some way that could work what tire size should I use for the 20" wheels or what do I need to make them work ? If its I bad idea and I should stick with replacing 18" wheels right?

BTW I might have this thread in the wrong forum so moderators if you do move the thread pm me

You can get away with 20's on a 05 and up mustang but on the New Edges (IMO) it just dosen't work for me..I would stick with the 18's.

beat me to it - no bigger than 18's. 20's look really bad.
