Screeching or Whistling Noise
I was driving my car in the morning and it was perfectly fine. Then on my way home i notice the car started making a whistling noise and the clutch gets harder to press. And every time i press on the clutch the car makes a screeching noise. I starting it this morning and the car just screeches, what could be the problem? is it just the throw out bearing?

With the age of your ride (and presumably high miles), while you have the tranny out to replace the throwout bearing, you might as well replace the rear main seal on the motor. Its only an extra 5 minutes in the total job time. Good luck...

Yes you can change just the throwout bearing, but you may want to check your clutch disc and pressure plate for material thickness and stiffness. You dont want to cheap out now just to have to pull it back apart in 2 month to replace the clutch.
If it aint leaking I wouldnt mess with it. Sometimes "preventative" maintainence causes more headaches cause replacement parts are almost always cheaper made than the oem stuff.

i just got the whole clutch replaced at my local shop. when i got it back yesterday i notice that the car vibrates when driving. At around 1400 rpms and higher the car vibrates more and more. It even vibrates when i rev up the engine when i am in neutral. The vibration is not felt as much when under 1500 rpms, but once it gets closer to 1500 the car vibrates. I took it to AAMCO today and the guy assumes it's the flywheel thats could be causing the vibrations. Could it be the flywheel thats causing the vibrations?
