my 2002 convertible's AC just suddenly quit, prime suspect is the CCRM, how often or at what age and mileage do this fail?
Seems to be a common issue..

I owned a 2000 V6 Mustang for 8 years and to be honest I had never heard of the CCRM. I had to look it up to even see what it was. That being said I found a link to test it out a bit. It's for a 96 specifically but, with the proper wiring diagram, the testing process should be the same.

There is no set mileage. It's an electrical part so it could last 700,000 miles or 70 miles.

it turns out to be bad ac clutch coil, replaced it and it's back. CCRM is still okay.
