Coolant Everywhere!

Coolant Everywhere!
Hi everyone so today I noticed my temp gauge was almost threw the roof, I was less then a mile away from home but I didn't want to risk it so I pulled over. I open the hood and to my surprise it was smoking and there was coolant everywhere. I just added coolant maybe a week ago because I noticed it was quite low. I haven't seen any leaks at all but when I got home I noticed this sludge on my radiator cap and inside of it. Please tell me that I don't have a blown head gasket and all will be rainbows and roses at the end of all of this. Side note I may or may not have over filled the radiator. Also I have a 2004 Ford Mustang v6, automatic with I think 175k miles.

Ok, you don't have a blown head gasket.......
You'll need to do a cooling system pressure test and compression check to get a better idea of where the system is failing. How's the oil look? Any issues with power or smoke out the tailpipe? Any coolant leaks?

Thanks for responding, I noticed a hole in one of my hoses while letting it idle. I'm hoping that it would be my issue so i'll be getting that fixed. As for the loss of power none, smoke out the tail pipe none, and coolant leaks are none other than from the hole in the hose.

Smoke out the tailpipe can't be explained by the hole in the hose. One problem at a time. Fix the hose and do a pressure test on the cooling system to first make certain all leaks are fixed and secondly see where the smoke is possibly coming from. What color smoke is it? White, gray, blue? What kind of smell?
