Chirping/Squeaking noise coming from engine bay.
So I have a 03 V6 manual transmission Mustang and it makes a really embarrassing squeaking noise. It doesn't matter if im doing 70 mph or at an idle the noise is still the same and never gets louder or faster. I dont believe it is anything on the belt assembly because when I rock the car back and forth it makes the noise even when the car is NOT RUNNING. If i aggressively sit down in the drivers seat it makes the noise. So that tells me its not something on the belt line. Possibly motor mounts or suspension components, but how would the engine idling create a suspension noise? I have done some research on the camshaft syncronizer and have found similar noises, but never anything as consistent as what my car is producing. The shocks and struts are brand new. It just amazes me how the sound can be reproduced even when its not running. If anyone has any advice, suggestions or knows of what the possible problem is please let me know.
