Default Ground Wire - Where does this go? (G103)

My son installed some new headlights. The next day it will turn over but not start. This wire, G103?, has lost its home. He was working around this area.

We've checked the fuses and they're fine. I'm thinking this must have something to do with it.

Any ideas?

not sure what year it is but this is where they go on the 94 models. On my 94 gt it goes to a large bundle of wires right behind the headlight.

that’s the second page, so on the v6’s it looks like your pcm is tied into it which would obviously cause issues. This is assuming you have the correct ground number, I didn’t look up the location of it in the manual.

That's great. Thank you! There is a bunch of wires right there. I'm guessing we'll have to pull that apart and find the break.

What document is that from? I'm going to get one for him.
2004 3.9L by the way.

Ford electrical and vacuum trouble shooting manual. It’s a reproduction of the original and has all the wiring diagrams in it. It’s year specific, I got mine on lmr but I know you can get them elsewhere as well and in a digital format.
