I had a local race shop do the job. They charged me $250.00
i know you got a diablo but did they say how much to recalibrate the speedo too, cause if i do gears, i cant get a tuner for a while and vice versa.
Some shops that do the work will flash tune the speedo for free. But most will charge from $50.00-$100.00. Depends on the shop. Try toi negotiate it in with the install labor.

ok, there are 65,000 miles on my car, and there is possibly a vacuum leak, but im gonna get that fixed tomorrow, so thats not a problem, im religious about changing oil every 3000 miles and i check fluid levels every time i fill my gas tank up, i also use fuel system cleaner every 3rd tank of gas.
hmmm. it still has 65,000 on there, which means no chargers, no2 or anything else of that nature. you should most def. go with gears but make sure you keep in mind that your car is getting old and winding down now, so take it easy

every 100 lbs is like adding +1hp
i thought it was every 10lbs was a horsepower but each extra hp is harder to get and adds to more weight reduction
every 100 pounds you take off you shed .01 secound off your ET
Or in the case of that article called "How to turn your econobox into a 14 second drag racer", they shedded 1088 pounds and gain 2 seconds in the quarter. Thats like... .1 seconds in that math?

I think the figure is for every 100 pounds you shed, you gain a tenth in the quarter.. .1 seconds. Hell I could gain .01 seconds in my quarter by wearing boxers only when I drive. Jeans and shoes are heavy ya know.

split ports and even some single ports can go well over 200k, he can do a blower until about 150k, then i would say rebuild and get a forged 4.2
