Well he can hit 320 with his tuner, but don't forget about all of his other mods either.
there is no way he is running 240rwhp then 320 with a tuner

the tuner will help but on the order of maybe 10-20hp not 80hp

He has 3 different tunes, but the regular road tune is set to 275 hp, but it is possible to get ridiculas gains with a tuner because you can really tamper with the engines abilities, don't rule out 50 hp gains, its is possible, and is done everyday, its just you got to get those tunes from either a shop that has the permission to use them, or get lucky enough to download them from the company.

I acually bought my 97 stang for 2,850 which to me was a hell of a deal even thou its a 6 cyl. do you really think i can get 4-6 grand for this car heres some pics.....

my dad just bought a 98 6er 5spd about 8 months ago for 6 grand. (some drunk dude destroyed the whole front end of his 94 Tbird while it was parked in the street... i really liked it, but im glad to see him driving a mustang again. the tbird was the only non mustang he has ever driven) but anyway, the stang had 60k miles on it when he purchased it. nothing was wrong with it, no interior or exterior damage. so that price sounds pretty good.

See I told you people will still pay money for a 94-98 V6 in great condition, because cars in our years in even half *** condition are hard to come by, the only problem is that they are slow as hell.

complete BS

with a supercharger or turbo or nitrous you have to stay with in a narrow range in the A/F ratio too rich and you lose power and get ring wash. too lean and melt a piston, pop a head gasket or destroy rod bearings or all three

diesels can have different levels close to that magnitude but they don't have to worry about fuel air mixture because they have no throttle and are direct injected which eliminates the chance of detonation

it was the cheapest ford (preferrably mustang) he could find at that mileage. [8D]

I think he has about 275rwhp and tuned to over 300...25hp gain..........I agree a tune would be hard to push a 60+hp increase(not impossible, just uncommon)....even 25 sounds really good tune but I could see it happening.

No its not BS, man you act like you know everything about a 6 because you own one, there are ways to gain over 75hp by doing ecu work, yes more than a tuner can do, research before you actually leave a post like that, I know of one tune by diablo that give about 30 rwhp on our year but the changes it does is drastic, like racing type setups, so don't tell me big hp gains are bs, go tell that to any real racer. 50 hp may be a little high for an everyday person with a tuner, but 30 hp is more than possible, but I still wouldn't rule out the 50hp gains.

on an 03-04 cobra you can get 20-30hp with tweaking a tune but not on the V6.

i don't act like i know everything just because i own 1 and don't even act like know everything but i have been building cars for quite awhile and have been down the tuning road with many cars. yes there is power there but mainly only right after a poweradder is added and the first dyno pull with A/F is taken to find out what the engine is doing. then if the tune is off it can be tuned in perfectly and slightly agressive like running on the lean side and/or advancing spark but after you find the safe operating parameters with a poweradder there is not 30-50hp floating around waiting for you to tap into it with the V6

a 3 position flip chip may have a 30hp range tops but that is even stretching it and i wouldn't trust diablo. i have used their tunes in the past only to be dissapointed. for tuning SCT is the way to go and preferably from Justin at www.vmptuning.com

why don't you contact justin and see if he agrees with you on this. i doubt he will

I'm pretty much staying out of this one. I will say, the only regret I have is not dynoing mine before I started modding. [:@]
