Well ebay does have some vortec models that will sell for like $2400, but they don't stay for sale all that long. But outside of that, nowhere, well unless autobadges is having a really good day.

oh, and the 5.0 is way ahead of the 3.8 for HP/$ mod wise. especially because they way less to buy new and they have forged internals if you buy the right years.

there are none on there right now. 2400 for a new one? cause from what I've seen the procharger is roughly the same money unless it's for a 5.0

Well I know that, but I have seen them on there for that price, but I haven't seen them in a while, figures, I start looking for something and I can't find it, Oh well, at least there are plenty of used GTs and Cobras to choose from.

i got mine 3 years ago from superchargersonline.com on sale

they are about $3000 now

vmp tuning has a turbo at 17psi to get 450rwhp, and your procharger @ 11 psi is gonna hit 400rwhp? are you sure about that? seems like a huge difference. I'm assuming vmp has all the supporting mods that you do, since it is their project car. Am I missing something, or do you think a turbo and 6psi only nets 50rwhp?

edit: or did you mean 17psi with the procharger?

Well he can hit 320 with his tuner, but don't forget about all of his other mods either.

i'll be at 18PSI with alot bigger cam and higher flowing heads to about equal the stocker and turbo

yes he does have 42lb injectors approiate MAF and fuel pump but otherwise internally stock and has been running that combo for about a year now
