that's a risk you take. see if the owner of the gears will let you have them magnafluxed for cracks before the sale is final.

i got mine for free and had them magnafluxed. they were just fine. i do agree that it is a risk but you can get them for $75 or under and are fine for those who know what they are doing. yes most would be better off buying new gears but i will still stand behind stangparts.com for their quality commitment
