it's not even worth the effort for 3 psi anyway. i would either do it right or not do it.

what if its a stock turbo from another mustang that only pushes 3 psi?
Do people ever realize that there isnt a single turbo that doesnt push more than 3psi?

If your turbo bakes 3psi, you have a serious problem, or you need to buy a boost controller. My blown IHI with a bent shaft made 6psi before it locked up.

yeah maybe if you have an 81, but the wiring is surprisingly not bad at all to swap to a 2.3 turbo motor (into the fuel injected 2.3's) and everything fits well because its the same motor. but a 5.0 swap might be easier than a well put together turbo setup added on a stock motor.

going 5.0, you still need to swap wiring harness', computers, and all that BS

the difference with going turbo 2.3 is youre not changing your motor mounts, youre not changing your throttle cable, youre not changing all your hoses, and all that crap

Go to www.turboford.net. They have the answers to all of your questions. The site has been having some problems the last few days, but keep trying. You will not believe what these guys do with the engines, turbos, and computers!
