I pay liability only, so I'm paying for the other guy, not myself, which makes it cheaper all the way around, now if I got coverage things would be different, but even then, insurence from a V6 to a V8 is only a couple of bucks difference, now a Cobra, I think, would of costed me about $150 more every six months, with some coverage, but I'm not getting any type of coverage until I hit 24, no need leting those bastards at the insurence company really rape the crap out of me.

HO DE DO! You're paying a car loan for the V6 right now right? I wouldn't think ANY dealer or finance company that would carry a note unless the buyer had FULL coverage.

Well I'm not paying $1300 just to drive a car either, not alone include gas and other expenses.

well, perhaps im missing something, but dont banks/finance places generally require you to carry coverage until you have paid it off in full? perhaps you were meaning to pay it off totally with your trade-in and savings. *shrugs*

i think you need to keep the 96. yellow is right. NO dealership will let you walk out unless you got full coverage. you MAY be able to get away with collision on a cheaper car like a neon or focus, but not a new stang.

In Cali, it's actually required under law to have full coverage until the vehicle is completely paid off.

Umm 98 Sorry, I had to make a smart *** post.[8D] Like I said, it's not set in stone yet, so let's not drag this way off topic, I've been told I'll have to have some form of coverage, hence, I've already thought of that one and I have that covered.
