Default gauge needles

anyone know where i could buy just the needles for the gauge cluster? i was looking to get the red ones as on the new edges so i can get rid of my ugly orange ones. unless they can just be recolored with something and still have their luminosity when lit.

I gotta say....I HATE the early SN95 and the rest of the mid-90's Ford needles [. If I ever had a early SN95, that would be one of the first mods I would do. Why not give MPS a call? I'm sure they can pull a cluster for you and then you can swap them yourself so they don't screw it up. Only thing is, the lights for the odometer and trip won't match. I think replacing the lights behind the cluster with some different LEDs would be easier....

i already ordered white face gauges. all i want to do is switch from the orange needles to the red ones. i dont want to buy a whole new gauge cluster for like $200 just to pull the needles off and ditch everything else.

Well, they are like $40 MPS clusters..

And you can always ask them for just the needles...

id call mps and prestigemustangs and see if they have any damaged clusters they are willing to pull the needles off of. i agree with laserred though, i hate the sn95 needles and its a good idea to switch them out.
edit. oh and you can get the whole cluster for like $30 on ebay, just find a v6 cluster because nobody wants them. then just pull the needles off.

ok so i found a needle kit online for anyone that is interested, theyre rather expensive though. id definitely look into getting used needles first anyway.

edit: MPS doesnt sell just the needles, so ill probably just hold off for a little while and buy the cluster.
