I Built it up from the block. And In my (opinion) I think all Mustang should be 5.0-302 thats why i did the swap. And Actually, I made sure first with the state & did my homework you can have the swap in fl. There are alot of ppl i know that have done the same thing.

Again, it's a FEDERAL LAW. EPA regulations state that is it illegal to remove any pollution control that came standard on a vehicle from the factory. Because you no longer have the EGR set up the V6 had, you have removed pollution control. O2 sensors are also part of the exhaust (pollution control). Because you went carb, I assume you no longer run them, which adds to the same idea.

The key is to be complemented on the entire car, not just one or two things that stand out.

People here in WI do it ALL the time. That's going to be the big mod to my 95 V6-a (fuel injected) 302 thrown in. But that's nothing new around here. I've seen guys throw in carbed engines in newer Mustangs a lot. Every single car show I've been to, I've seen one.

It may be against federal law ( to you, EPA), but it's not hardly enforced. I can bet you at LEAST 50% of the old Fox bodies running around here have deleted the smog pump and their cats.

Personally, I like the hood. I think it looks good, IMHO.

Well dont say we didnt warn ya.

But like I said, I am pretty sure the loophole is registering it as a kit car.
Its a little expensive but it makes the car legal, IF it was ever red flagged.
