Default AVIC-D3

Wanted to know if the AVIC-D3 will fit a 2002 Mustang.

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....#productdetail

The website for bestbuy says no. The sales rep at bestbuy says no. A local car audio store says they have a kit that will allow it to fit after he actually looked in the interior and not at the computer.

So, computer says no. Bestbuy rep says no. Car Audio guy says yes.

Any experience with the system?

Thanks for all the quick replies.

Anywho, Circuit City's website says it will fit. Best Buy says no.

Any experience, eh?

I have it in my 04 V6, is there a difference in your double din space then in a 04, I thought it was pretty much the same for 99-04, mine fits fine and I love it.

Don't know what happened there with my post, anyways, stay away from Best Buy, Circuit City, and Mobil One, they're over priced and only sell select brands.

Shop www.sonicelectronix.com

For head units look at:

Alpine
Clarion
Eclipse
and High end Pioneer
ther are a couple of other brands, but can't think of them right now.

Also, have you changed any of your classes to match mine yet?

i have the single din and put in the bottom slot where the CD player went, and it fits the car perfectly. I have seen D3s fit in our double din slots no problem, but if you don't want to risk it and want a really easy install, go with the AVIC N2 or N3

No, I forgot the password to my BlackBoard account ... So I'll do it one day ... send me your schedule again and i'll spruce mine up a bit. How many hours are you taking?

And new question: #1, thanks Jeremy for the site ... That thing has amazing deals. #2, with the new car I have the Shaker 500 6 disc changer. Isn't it hard to mess with the Shaker systems?
