My car has been off the road since monday. Going home today to put wash and put a car cover on it. Then head to the local bar and get slizzered for halloween.

I dunno what Im going to dress up as tho, a righand(what I do for a living), a elephant(have the whole costume w/ giant foam head), or a air freshener(one of my costumes last year).

I was thinking of attaching my hard hat to the elephant head and wear the coveralls over top.

There's a 3.8l out of a mustang on my local craigslist with a blown head gasket for 50 bucks. would it even be worth it to buy it and use the block for my build? it doesn't say the year of the mustang it was pulled out of, but are there any real differences in the blocks between years?

Found out it's from a 94. any differences in the block?

 

Not that would make any real big issues for you. For $50, go for it.

 

isn't the main girdle different? I'm going to use this block to build a 4.2 with... slowly but surely haha

 

if its a 5 speed and thats the direction you wanna go, then it would be very worth it if the trans is ok and it has all the necessary parts to do a swap.

 

sell the mazda, buy winter 4x4, money for 4.2 build?...

 

what kind of mazda are we talking about here? and what year?

on a side note, everyone saying they put their mustang away is making me sad lol. i drove mine 2 days ago, will probably drive it today. i gotta start checking the weather....
