Here's a little update. I've been decently busy with that engine I picked up, It's completely torn down minus the timing cover. had a few questions to shoot you guys, is there a difference in the heads between 2001 and 1997? I'm getting the heads ported, just didn't know if I should use the heads from the 1997 on the stand, or from the 2001.

Allllssssooooo, today I picked up a 198x Suziki PE 175 that needs a little TLC =)

97 heads are single port (usually less air flow), 01 are split port (more air flow). Use the newer heads and intakes.

I knew about the single/split port intakes, just didn't know if that carried into the heads, alright, I'll just end up getting the splitport heads ported. my main goal for this build is to be able to build an engine while still being able to drive the car, maybe I'll pick up a set of ported heads from HiPo over on V6P, he always comes up with a good deal here and there, thanks for the info

I have a quick question. I'm on my cell phone and can't start a new thread so here it is...The trim piece on the outside of my passenger side door at the window comes up when I roll the window up. How do I go about fixing it or where can I het a replacement for it?

So I've never worked on a 2 stroke before, let alone anything with only two wheels. I need a rear axle and chain bracket... I'm realizing this is going to be a little more difficult than I had originally imagined

Gotta change my power steering fluid...any tips before I attempt it semi-blindly? Shouldn't be that hard, but I've never done it on a Mustang.
