Doesn't sound that great. You can get a set of good sounding mufflers for under $150, I would suggest that, everyone is different.

Installed? As long as they sound good..be better since they are legal.

flow 40's, cherry bomb turbos(chambered), magnaflows(NOT PACKS)

Not installed. They run $40 a piece ish if you want the cheap ones, thrush welded series mufflers, or you can go to old faithful, flowmaster 40s which will run $150 total. You can have have it installed with true duals from the stock cats back for under $300, I would have them add in an h pipe personally. You can also get a pair of high flow cats (magnaflow) for under $200 that will increase flow/sound and you'll stay emissions friendly.

I know absolutely nothing about mufflers (except names and what they look like). If you could provide some links, I'd be grateful.
I'm guessing for someone like me this isn't a DIY job (if you've never done it before or know little about exhaust).

Hmm, okay. I'll have to research a bit more on it.
Emissions tests are FTL.
