I want to get lowering springs (damn i sound like such a noob, my appologies ahead of time) but my friend keeps telling me not to get them because I need a bunch of other crap besides the springs themselves. Is this true?

It depends on how low you they drop the car, small drop you should be fine, more than 1-1.5" and C/C plates are probably gonna be needed and shocks/struts just make it ride better if it's low

Eh mine was decently low and after changing from the stock shocks with at least 10k lowered 90k total to tokico hp's I didn't notice a drastic difference in ride quality. Did notice a little better handling, seemed more responsive.
