I have a friend in alabama, it snowed once there a few years ago, like half an inch and they closed schools and businesses and stuff people were freaking out haha
just remember 98% of the people say oh **** when they hit ice and snow...but the 2% are from new england, so our response is "hold my beer and watch this"
Idk, I was wondering the same thing Alex... I know our half inch is nothing compared to what you guys get, but I'm simply amazed that it snowed at the beginning of Dec... haven't seen that happen in a while :/
Haha, I like it here for the most part, it snows, you look out the window and go "ohhhhhhhh, ahhhhhhhhhhhh", go play in it and by morning it's gone and ok to drive again

I guess that could fall into the column of: Southern Comforts
Sure beats the midwest. Im aware that that the upper East Coast got bombed pretty bad earlier here. But still flake for flake year by year. The Midwest tops the rest of the country for crappy, icy, wet, heavy, dark, gloomy weather. Ya wanna see what a Winter Wonderland is like? Come to Northern Minnesota, ill show ya around. There nothing like it anywhere and most everyone hates it. lol Except when you wake up in the morning.... Kodak moment.
