So I finally broke down and bought an antenna today for the black car (was broken off when I got it). I tossed a $10 Pep Boys 14" shorty on there. Doesn't look half bad. And yes, I also bought the Meguiar's junk to clean up the headlights. Seems like a good Saturday afternoon project.

 

pretty cool, is it basically the same as the ones they have on AM? Hows the radio sound with it? ive always wondered if the quality of sound went down when switching to a shorty.

 

I've driven without the antenna for months, really didn't notice a difference at all adding it... just looks better than having an odd base of the stock antenna on my fender.

 

Well I just went and picked up a pair of 03 cobra side scoops for $75.

The Guy also had a set of red 03 cobra side scoops for $250 and the mirrors for $300. Unfortunately I had to turn those to items down

and in recent news, this Sunday is going to be my first cruise ever with other MF'ers! The Mass regional chapter put together a pretty hefty cruise for this Sunday, I'm stoked to say the least. Should be a lot of fun =)

I have used it, really not what I would call worth the money.

I used a 3M kit (Like $18 at Wal-Mart) and instead of buffing the already yellowed and hazed plastic it removes the top layers.

It works really great.

yea i just used the 3M kit on my other car the other day. im pretty happy with it, the headlights are a lot more white.
