I started on V6P only becaue when I had my 4.2L dropped in, someone mentioned it there. A bunch of the 'old school' guys claimed I was a fake and didn't have the car b/c they had never heard of me. And if anyone was really building a 4.2L, they would know about it. Seem kind of full of themselves... then it turned into a political / off topic forum instead of a car forum.

I used to post on V6P a lot because there were a lot of knowledgable people there for tech but it did turn to one giant OT with a little tech sprinkled in.

Side note - I've had a little downtime this summer when I'm not working and I was thinking of doing a little blog. Nothing like my emotions or some bs but about cars, just compiling car news, reviews, test drives, information and things of the sort..with some random stuff thrown in as well. I know its something I'd be interested in reading but I'm not going to do it simply for myself haha, is that something any of you guys would be interested in checking out at all? Just basically a way for me to spend some time semi-productivly.

 

Its nice that M112 adapters are starting to come on the used market more often now.

That won't last long. We found 'tabs' like that can't handle the tq the SC puts on the upper and will crack off. Wonder who did it. "Custom design"....more like ripped off design LOL. Pictures show it installed with Nathan's idler pulley set up.

 

ah i see, i signed up on 3.8 (now 3.7) but havent done anything. i just did it incase i needed to buy some used parts.
