The trimmed edges is something I saw on 3.8...er... 3.7 one time. Not sure who's it was, but it failed. Three of the 'tabs' cracked off. I'd guess this one is a home made copy of that one. Originally I had mine sketched that way, but the metal guys I was working with told me not to do it so the stress could be taken without failure.
Damn, thats too young.

Here is what I wrote to the guy on ebay.
Heya;
I was just wondering what forum you go to and what your username is over there.
The only guys that have done the M112 manifold down in Florida that I know of (The first guys to do it) are Matt and Nathan (LilRoush and MySteed)
Just wanting to see your process before bidding.

Thanks.

Eric,
I dont do forums..too many people who don't know what they are talking about or doing. Although I have met Justin over at VMP tuning who helped a little with sensors and wiring and vacum stuff. Saw the intake at supersixmotorsports.com and said that looks easy to make so I did. Had tuning done locally at Ramseys performance in Lutz, FL. I even had the head mechanic at Brandon Ford look at it and he said it looks factory and they could not have done better. I stand by this intake and it will handle any boost you want to push through it to your V6. Your only limit is the quality of the engine components and your gaskets. I am the only one in Tampa with this mod.
I run this intake on my car and have for two years with no issues whatsoever.
Thanks for the question and happy bidding if you want it!
Mike
Man I should have copyrighted that thing when I started to.
I'd make a killing on the rip offs and lawsuits LOL.
I love his "don't know what they are doing" comment... only to have a major flaw in it. What boost was he pushing? I've seen the tq from my blower when I get into it (advantage of no hood sometimes)... those little tabs will give. Wonder what metals he used.
WAIT A MINUTE: The auction lists it as NEW, yet it's been on his car 2 YEARS!? WTF!?!?!

That guy got really pissy when I started asking direct questions:
Original design vs ripped off: "I didn't copy anything."
New vs run for two years: "I have several intakes".
Made by Ferguson Induction Systems: "I'm not a company, nor ever claimed to be."
What a crack pot.
