license plate lights removal

Question license plate lights removal

how the hell do u take them off theres screwss but they just spin dont tighten up or loosen

they aren't real screws. they're the ones with the retaining clips that pop into eachother. you just have to find the edge of the "screw" and carefully pop it out of the retaining clip.

i had the same problem with my sisters 2000 mustang last month.. it took me and my dad a while to figure out why they were just spinning.. lol

no no no.

open your trunk you can find, twist and remove the light plug from in there.

well thats the way we did it.. it worked just fine. we didnt think to open up the truck.. soo im more than positive either way works great.
