Selling question
I got a 97 Mustang V6 5speed, no rust, in great shape I am looking at selling due to it SUCKS in snow! Last year the odometer quit working at 121k miles. How do I sell it with the odometer being off? Granted, Ive probably only put an additional 12k on it but I dont want to get sued for not saying something etc.
Question 2 - I had a boston accoustic sound system installed this summer, how hard would it be to remove? Speakers, 2 amps, the subs will be easy to pull....
Thanks!

Just put in the add that the odometer quit working and you've put approx xxx miles on it. They can't take legal action against you if you tell them.
If your going to leave the wiring its pretty simple. Disconnect everything from the amp and take out of the car.

Dont remove the system.... That hurts the value of the car and I HATE seeing hacked up wiring because people wanted to get their heavily $$depreciated$$ sound equipment out of the car thats not even worth the amount they just knocked off of the car by removing it.
You should also fix the odometer and go down to the title office to have the adjustment added to the title. Simple and you wont lose selling power with it.
Provided the body and interior is perfect and its a great drivers that doesnt need anything I wouldnt pay more than $1500 for a non-working odo and hacked up sound system.
If you left the sound system intact and fixed the odo then I would start off by asking $4000 provided everything is perfect. Fully loaded (All V6 Auto coupe options) KBB private sale in Perfect Shape is $3400 and Retail is $4800.
Covering right in the middle ground should get her sold.
The average for a very clean fully loaded SN95 with those miles around here seems to be around $2500-3000. Price changes per your area.
Good luck with your sale.
