RE: MMR 2005 V6 Throttle Body Spacer
anyone heard of disconnecting the antifreeze line that goes through the throttle body? My friend said that its there to keep it from freezing shut in the winter, but you can disconnect it in the summer and you will get colder air into the engine. Anybody heard this before?

RE: MMR 2005 V6 Throttle Body Spacer
I installed the MMR spacer, which they claimed 3-5hp, and saw 0hp improvement on the dyno. Don't waste the $60. As for the coolant line for the T/B, they had that on the old 5.0L's also. It definately hepls air temp, it may be a worthwhile change. If your going to do a bolt on, buy a Alternator underdrive pulley from Paul's High Performance for 3-5hp.
