Crank Pulley

RE: Crank Pulley
All I present is my opinion, take it for what it's worth. My car is the car Doug used to test the UDP on the dyno, I have been running it ever since. Is it worth the money? Thats an individual decision. The car felt very different when we put the pulley on, I liked it ...thats all I can say.

Did you do the work ? How much trouble was it.
Thanks

RE: Crank Pulley
Ended up using an 85 inch belt Goodyear 4060850, but an 85.5 may be the actual size needed Goodyear 4060855, this belt also fits a 98-2001 Ford Taurus w/ 3.0 engine, I was going to put an 85.5 on but the supply house didn't have one, so I used the 85 instead, it places the tensioner a little more inboard than I feel it should be, consequently there may be a little too much tension on the belt, which may have caused the noise John(SCRMING) heard when he was running the UDP. I have had no problems running this belt to date. The pulley is very easy to install. Of course you will need some special tools to do it.

So how did you resolve the belt sizing issue ? I want to get one of these but don't want the headache finding the correct belt.

RE: Crank Pulley
I checked www.paulshp.com for alternator pulley and can't find it. How hard was it to replace the pulley and what if I don't have impact gun is there an alternative?
