You have to thumb thru your trip odo readout for your speedometer? lol. J/K. My 05 has a digital readout for MPG, odometer, trip odo, avg. spd, miles till empty, fuel used,........all that interesting junk. I don't know if I have it because of the IUP or if all the new GT's have it.

(7) A suspension noise known in its TSB as "strut popping". Haven't taken this one in yet, just started to notice it after the stereo started acting up so I've been riding around without my tunes some days.

Can I just say that you guys are fantastic???? I thought I had requested emails for when I got a response to my posting. I only received notice for 3 replys. Thanks so much for all of your gripes, opinions, advice bits, and such. You've made me feel better about my decision to stick with the V6. I'm still stuck on some appearance issues though.
0to60 (Tim in Ct): Can you post a pic of your car? Windveil blue has become my first choice, but I'm not quite sure yet. I would love to see the grill and fog lamps you have listed as the details of your car. I'm not real happy with the black grill idea. I guess I'm old school and prefer the chrome look. When the new body style came out, I immediately wanted the Torch red (candy apple red to me....), but I think that color needs more chrome in the grill area. I know i can get the Pony Pkg with the fog lamps, but I really don't need 17" tires.
Also, you guys are scaring me with the negative ABS news. I live in a windy, hilly area (great for testing your car on those curves!!!), that sees snow and ice. I thought I might pay for the ABS. Maybe not????
I'm sort of surprised to hear of your problems right after delivery. I only had one problem with my 2000 Mustang when I first bought it. The clamp to the water hose was loose and my engine had a steam cleaning!! Hadn't had any problems after that. Do the V8s have their own problems?
Thanks guys, for helping a girl out!!!

RE: Has anyone seen this month's issue of Consumer Reports?
I've bought my car in Late March '05, and have had a few problems (E-brake, door handle stickin out, and replaced passenger leather seat). However, all of the repairs were of no cost to me, and like everyone else : I LOVE MY CAR!! After a horrible day at the office its great being able to fly out of the parking lot and have 15 minutes of peace.

Okay, okay with the chrome old school/new school!
Anyway, I stopped by the dealer today to get up close to the V6's, V8's, pony packages, and grills. So glad I did this. I've decided to go with the V6 and the pony pkg. I love that grill! Still not thrilled with the 17" tires. What kinds of tires will the car come with? Will I get away from the Eagle GT's? Those are sloppy tires, at least they were on my 2000. My indecision comes down to color and stripes or no stripes. I love the Windveil blue with black stripes, and I'm partial to the redfire (now that I can get more chrome with that grill!), but not sure if I want black stripes on the red.
Opinions??
