for a BOV theres no rael performance gain from them.. but the BOV will depend on how quick it will purge your system.. and they are all pretty efficent.. just get the one you think sounds the coolest

are you talking to me becuase what i asked is totally different thats why i didnt see it. lol...

i didnt ask what brand was better or whatever....

i asked what type is better.... a bov that vents into the atmosphere or a bov that vents itself back into the system to relieve the pressure. i didnt ask about any brands ,lol....

im still not sure if this was ment towards me or not... i just am curious as to which type is best and why... 1 that vents to the atmosphere or into the sytsem again... the ones that make the noise and look like a horn are the atmosphere ones...

im not talkin performance gains, i know they dont. lol...

what is better for the system in general(meaning any system not just our 05's) What are the pros of con of each?... is venting it to the atmosphere better than venting it back into the system? lol.

but also.... doesnt a bov also extend the life of ur turbo and in turn allow u 2 safely run more boost since its stopping the turbo from back spinning and whatnot?

it depends there are small up and downs imnot familiar with for venitng backinto the system or atmosphere tuning is required for both to get your system runnign right

a bov either goes back into your intake, or the atmosphere cuz if it didnt and you have 10psi in the system and your throtle plate is closed... the air isnt going anywhere.. either it will force the turbo to stop in its tracks and make it reverse spin or blow your intake manifold / all the fittings connecting your intercooler and pipes right off!
