Some of you need to take an auto-shop class at your local high school or college. It may save you alot of these types of questions. Do the math, and you'll be happy.
i agree, a class like that will initialy touch base with key stuff.. but it will help alot

yeah, the gears dont actually nincrease the torque of the engine, but it multiplies it to the ground. thatw why you get better takeoffs

thank god black foot well put sonic gears make no more torque at the fly whell but at the rear wheels =much more torque. im just happy someone knows what there talking about now what about for a stock v6 auto. maybe no gears i still want decent top speed i am a highway commuter. i also dont want hight RPM's at 85 mph (crusing highway speed)
