Default AUX input

hello all,

I am not really new to the forum. I have been veiwing it for several months now. I recently bought my mustang and was wondering.... It has the shaker 500 radio in it, here is an AUX botton on the radio. The owners manual says that it will display no AUX if pressed which is exactly what happens when I press it. I am assuming that this is for XM radio. What I was wondering is does anyone know what type of input this is? Is it some ford harness for XM or is it a set of RCAs? I would like to know because I would like to be ble to run my IPOD through the radio and get better quality than I currently to with a FM modulator.

yeah,
the AUX button is not forour cars. Ford uses the same head unit in alotof their cars and the AUX button isfor the ones with like a rear DVD system, when the buttin is pressedit plays the dvdon the speakers.

there isnt just a simple plugin for the AUX button (ford is stupid) you have to get the PIE adapter.

yea. the pie adaptor is pretty sweet. Pretty easy install... i ordered mine pre production, lol.... all of a sudden 1 day something came in the mail and i was like i didnt order anything then i opened the box and was like ooo yea... lol
