Default Forced Induction

I know there's a thread specifically for boost and such but seeing as this is particular to 05's I'll give it a shot here, I apologize in advance if this is in the wrong place. Does anyone know (and I know some of you do) how much a supercharger/turbo system would be likely to run (parts and install)? I know there's no turbo kits out for the v6 yet but maybe a custom fabrication would be an option? Comments and suggestions are more than welcome. Thanks guys!

lol your wrong about that... there are 3 companies out already with turbo kits.. about 5g a kit..

www.powerhouse411.com

thats the only company off the top of my head..

SC i recomend procharger or vortech

our engines seem to be happy at 9-10 psi making about 350 ish power to the wheels

I stand corrected! You are much better at the internet searching than I. (or you simply have more patience) Looks like their non intercooled kit is only about 3800. I'm not looking for crazy power just GTishthat I cant save up for and upgrade instead of paying for it outright. Know what I'm saying? Non-intercooled looks alright to you guys? Think a couple of gearheads and a weekend can get this thing put in?

i would be sketchy about non intercooled.. an intercooler makes boost safe ... in a way to say it

i think if you are going to pay that much already, my should just go for the whole thing

no used to pay for a system that could destroy your car you know?

i think that the superchargers are cheaper

ps. dont worry about posing stuff here, most of us dont really post stuff in the other more general sections pretty much because our cars are a lot different than the past years. we talk about everything here, from paint colors to turbos

Thanks again guys. I'm seeing alot of prices for kits, and those I can find (Thanks Hamidlmt). I was wondering more what the average install cost would be for one of these things, or is it something I can do myself or with a few knowledgeable (sp?) friends.
