I just returned from Vegas after a few days and left the Stang with my family. Upon returning I noticed my remote entry key and spare stopped working (no locks, trunk, alarm) and my headlights are on low even while set to off. I can't seem to figure out why. After a cursory evaluation everything appears A-OK. Anyone have an idea where I should look further, or is this some sort of feature (disabling keyless entry and headlight auto on)?

so was your battery dead?

 

try disconnecting your battery for 5 or so minutes and connecting it again. perhaps give it a charge if its running low.


Try taking the car to ford.

 

yep definitely not the battery. tried that. it's fully charged. I was hoping not to have to run to the dealer since I have no spare time, but I suppose I'll have to.
