Default Inexpensive Mods/Cosmetic Changes

I'm looking for inexpensive beginner mods/cosmetic options for my 2006 V6 Stang.

I've got $400 I can blow on the car right now, i'd save up for a Roush body kit, but i'm itching to do something to the car. Just brought it home last sunday. (Already put 1200 miles on it, ) I am open to cosmetic and performance mods. For now i'm primarily going to go for the cosmetic over the performance, but open to both.

I'm considering Racing Stripes, Roush Side Window Louvers. Sequential Tail Lights, and looking into other options.

how about a little window tinting? I had the back 3 windows down for about $100... (and then I eventually put louvers on them... LOL!)

Actually though... everyone's 1st mod should be a tuner... personally I would go with the SCT X-Cal2... it will dramatically change your cars performance... for the better!!! LOL

Noob question I know but do the tuners void warranty? If so, any options out there that won't void warranty? Thanks!

Tuners void warranty, but only if the Dealer knows about the tune....you can always re-tune your car back to the original OEM settings before you go to the dealer....(I think!)

Go to Saleen and pick up some GT take off wheels for $425+shipping. A little more than what you have, but it would be worth it.

I'm pretty sure the dealer can still find out the ECU was changed if they read the ECU, as the info that the cars parameters were changed is recorded on it and stays regardless if you flash those parameters back to stock.

Intake and exhaust. It's more than 400 so save a little longer but it's a good start.

I agree with the intake and tuner being your first upgrade but if you want something inexpensive that will put out some nice sound then buy a GT takeoff exhaust, you can pick them up cheap from ebay and they make heads turn when you get on it. that or if you want strictly cosmetic then buy some gt wheels off of saleens website, its gonna run you a bit over $500 but that includes the shipping, think mine were $526 when it was all said and done. Anyways whatever you decide will make you happy once you put it on your car and will probably induce mod fever [sm=badbadbad.gif]
