Is the in dash system that comes standard with the Mustang(not the Shaker) good enough for some subs and better speakers, or should I just start with getting a new dash and then speakers? I'm wondering because a standard stereo is less appealing to thieves than the fancy ones.

 

The Shaker is O.K. (except for some of the problems others have noted on this forum) but I think you will need an RCA adapter if you go with a different sound set up. IMO, just change out the whole thing at once and get what you really want.

change the head unti first, then go speakers and sub.

 

your stock deck can handle different speakers and subs.. you can change it out later if you want.. if a shop tells you other wise.. take your business elsewhere
