So I went to the Keg for dinner the other night. Two hours later, I come back to my car, unlock it with the remote, hop in and go. After about 30 feet of travel, I hear the "door is open" chime, then I hear the trunk make a clunk sound, as if it banged from the bump I was going over. I pulled over for an inspection. No signs of forced entry to the trunk or doors. My car washing stuff was still in the trunk, nothing gone from the inside, either.
Did I accidentally hit the trunk button when I unlocked the car, or while I was driving? I guess I'll never really know for sure.

I seem to recall something about if your car had it's security system tripped, it would display "security alert" or something to that effect on the dash. You probably just hit the fob. I've done it before.
