Convince Me

I am a Turbo fan too, I would just rather do an S/C on my car.
Most of the 4.6 guys want to switch to a TT setup. They are more powerful down the road, I mean a buddy of mine has a Supra pushing TWENTY TWO(22) POUNDS! I thought that was crazy!

I would be interested to hear a comparison of a blown V6 Mustang to a GT Mustang as far as how the power -feels-. Based on the numbers it looks like the blown V6s are the same as or a little faster than a GT, but is the profile of the power delivery different? That's what I've been wondering.

I'm wondering the exact same thing too.

Yep, I was looking for that sheet Tom!!!
I do have to point out to everyone, mod for mod, the GT will beat us, but we can hang with them if we make the investment. I don't want this to turn into a V6 vs V8 thread again, when we are all on the same team.
My kill goals is the import 4 and 6 bangers I see at the track. I already got two more civic kills that thought V6 mustangs were slow. LOL. I love it! Oh, and M3s!!!! I'm itching to take one on at the track. 333 fly wheel HP and 262 TQ at the fly wheel, lets see who wins LOL. If I take one, I can't wait to see the look on thier face to know they got beat by a six and not an 8. LOL.

And back on topic:
I absolutely love this thing. Here's an example, the car can break loose at 60-70 from all the power available. You have to respect the newfound power you get from these SC/TC's.

Alright guys, I figure I'll have the money saved up for a supercharger or turbo by the end of summer. But, before I drop 4k-5k into my car I want to know how all you boosted guys really feel (scrming, rygenstormlocke, etc...) about you new power. I mean, I want some neck breaking, scare my passengers power? I've read all the posts, seen the videos and realize that's only half the story. I want to know if you guys are satisfied with your boost and if this is a worthwhile investment?

If I were you and had the cash I would get in on the turbo group buy that is going on (it's a few threads up from this one). Just my 2 cents.
Well, if I were you, I'd seriously consider saving the $5,000 it will cost you (or more) and save this toward a new car. Trick out your 6, then in 3 years, you have decent trade value and $6,250 (with interest) to put toward your next car (redesigned '09 GT ?). Think long term. If the GT is what you really wanted, take the steps now to set yourself up for a new GT later. Saving is tough, but, it pays off.
