Default Fog Light Voltage Drop

I installed the Street Scene wiring harness without any problems. I haven't put in the relay so that the fogs turn off when the high-beams are on yet. I seem to be getting a voltage drop/gain resulting whenever I turn off the fogs. It sounds like a popping noise coming from the speakers. I am pondering throwing a capacitor in there to help regulate the flow. Has anyone experienced this? If so, what was your fix? Any input appreciated!

If you followed Street Scenes instuctions and tapped into a fuse for your power supply, I would suggest moving your power wire to the main power cable going into the fuse block. You can put an o-ring connector on the wire and slip it on the bolt. I don't have any popping or power drains. Hope this helps.

Yeah, I am hooked into the fuse box. I thought about hooking right up to the main power but didn't want to take the risk of sending too much current to the lamps. Did you hook your's directly to the main cable?

You don't "send" too much current to the lights. They draw the amount of current they need. Problems arise if the current draw is greater than what the cunductors or connectors are rated for, or if the connections aren't good. You should also have it fused properly.
