Default No Mustang this weekend

Last week, the airbag indicator light came on and stayed on. I made an appointment with the service department for today. I brought the car over earlier today to find out that it's the sensor on the passenger side seat. They have to take the seat out. They will have the car until at least Monday. I'm kinda bummed right now. I guess I can go a few days without my Mustang. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

Every once in a while my passenger side "air bag off" light comes on, the dealer was clueless.

if you put something on the seat under (60?) lbs, it will say "pass airbag off" until the weight is removed. i dunno if you had somethin there or not... but yeah

The indicator light that was coming on was the one that is underneath the tachometer. The owner's manual stated that if the light remains on, to have the system serviced immediately by your authorized dealer. Also, I did noticed that the other indicator light "Pass Airbag off" was acting weird too. For example: Someone could be sitting in the passenger site weighing 200 pounds, yet the "Pass Airbag off" light would be lit. Sometimes if would be accurate, sometimes not. Obviously there is a problem here. Since I do mostly highway driving, I figured I should have this checked out immediately. I don't want to have a faulty airbag issue! Again, this started about 1-2 weeks after having the new car.

randy87045: Yes, it's sucks. I'm missing the Mustang! The good news is that the weather here in New Jersey has been awful the past two days.

The car dealership just called me. They had to order a part (some part that inside/under the passenger seat), which they will not get until tomorrow. So another day without the car. They are going to set me up with a courtesy car tonight. Hope they give me something decent. I'm really missing my car. Again, the good news with all of this has been that the weather has been horrible again. Rain, rain, and rain.

Damn, I'm really missing my car!!!!!
