Default Pony lower grill question

Recently got a 2006 with Pony Package, noticed today something that does seem a little questionable.

The lower grill has 3 vents, one wide one in the middle and a narrower one on each side. No grill or anything behind to prevent rocks, etc from hitting the radiator/cooler. Is this correct or is there something missing ?

Thanks I guess the lower grill is as it is supposed to be, nope didnt get extended warranty.

My 99 Ranger has 160,000+ mostly highway miles and never had any problems. Just changed fluids a lot. Now the oil pan gasket is leaking at the front, that is why I broke down an got a Mustang.

Was going to sell the Ranger and commute in the Mustang, but I like this Mustang so much I hate to drive it on my almost 100 mile round trip commute to work. I am having serious second thoughts on selling the ranger, might have to fix it and drive it another 160,000 miles.

I hope the Mustang is as reliable as the Ranger, if so an extended warranty would be useless.

I was implying that the extended warrenty had something to do w/the lower grill

I drive round trip to work 120 miles to work ..........i feel you there
But I only work 8 days a month
