Hey,

While some of our members were visiting FFW in Norwalk,Ohio some other were visiting the NMRA races in Martin,Michigan. I was only there on Sunday, but there were alot of cool things to see. They also had a small car show. NMRA events are cool to check out, if they come to an area near you!

By the way, this was my first long trip. (3 hours one way) I have a 2006 Mustang V6 manual transmission with 4.10 gears. I was running around 2800rpm with the cruise set at 75mph and averaged 23mpg. For anyone doing a gear swap, think twice before choosing 4.10's or run a much taller tire/wheel combo than stock. It would probably be perfect with a 28" tall tire with 20" rims.

I will be running my car this coming up weekend at Lapeer Dragway. My goal is 14.80et, which I think should be possible with my current setup. For information on my mods, check out my profile and previous posts.

Hey congrats on Norwalk!

Lidio ran on Saturday morning and got eliminated first round, his Mach 1 was only running 10.80's instead of it's normal 10.60's. I showed up on Sunday morning, and he had already returned home by then.

As far as Lapeer is concerned, I'm going at 11:00am on Saturday for test&tune for an hour or so. I hope to get 3-4 runs in to see how my car runs. It would be great if you showed up, maybe I'll see ya.
