Crap, this thread is still alive. It's like the endless re-runs of springer on TV during the day. ROFL.

We all own mustangs, that is why we are here. You know, the only pony car to survive the decades!!! The only one you can buy today and the one that started it all.

Cheers!
Rygen, you are so right. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Mustang the longest-running, continuously made car name plate out today? T-Bird had a lapse from 1998 thru what, 2001. You can't say that Corvette is older, because Chevy never made Vette's in 1983 (they were left-over 82's until the new body style in 1984). So is there a car out today with a longer continuous legacy than our beloved Mustangs?

Redass, I understood your original post clearly. Sure, you posted 1 fact about how an Eclipse impressed you more than a V6 Mustang. Good for you. I don't need an engine to define who I am. Then you followed with a bunch of your opinions. Just like my response: a bunch of MY opinions.

The main idea behind your thoughts is "GT's ARE THE REAL MUSTANGS" and it's the V6 crowd that tarnishes the Mustang name! So does that mean the Cobra owners should bash on you because your GTs make their Cobras look slow?
shoot, I'm wasting my time because I don't think you get it anyways..
that's not what I said at all, that's only what you want me to say so you can bunch up your panties. I said v6 stangs are not a lot faster than any other sporty car that is considered an average car when it comes to acceleration, for around the same price. that does not match the expectations most people have of mustangs, therefore people do not always come away with a lot of respect for a v6 mustang after a test drive. all I did was answer the question, what part of that is not true? did I lie through my teeth about the v6 sections having shoddy knowledge at times? right after I posted that, 3-5 car lengths became a full second or a second and a half and nobody even corrected it, and even then, I still had to debate about it. Seems like good support for my point.

and yes, I really need an engine to define me. it has nothing to do with me enjoying more acceleration on the road, it's actually because my ******** doesn't have enough wrinkles.

For real, but maybe it's better that they don't so that all these posts stay confined to this thread. How about a V6/GT Smack Talk section lol.
