Anyways, about V6's, sure I want the sound of an V8. I know this will never happen, but atleast it doesn't sound like an angry weed wacker. I really don't judge on if it's an eight or a six, they all look good to me. (Except for my friend's girlfriend's car, she has a new edge V6 and I always tell her mines better. You should see the fights!
) I don't think there will ever be any rest when it comes to comparison to the V6 and the V8. Just mod it till they shut up!

That's whats really pissing you off, isn't it red *** - even though your car is a 2002 engine with a tired rotating assembly, its still a GT and more people should be aware of that. You're mad because for the price of a tuner, long tube headers and a more aggressive cam, I could smoke your ***. I'm betting it burned you bad when you found out that Morana Racing was coming with a stroked engine and heads for the 4.0L V6 - a 4.5L SOHC naturally aspirated is about to eat your biatch SN95 lunch. Well, one good thing about your car, it has a nice paint job ..... or is that a chop job because the girl or whatever that is in the car, ain't real either.

you wanna know why people make fun of the sixers and why the sixers get no respect? Here's why, no offense to anyone who wants to take my honesty as some sort of stupid personal attack:
Say you know nothing about mustangs, and all you know is that they are supposed to be fast. If you go looking for a "fast" car, and you see a mustang, and you drive the v6 one, you are usually left saying, "well that wasn't fast at all, in fact, it was slower than a 2001 v6 eclipse. How disappointing, there's no way can I compensate for my needle dick with this car, I need a v8." Then you come on this website to learn about the GT you just bought and see that half the people in the sixer section can't get a fact straight, and you just can't help but lose respect. please don't make me find examples, I'm not here to judge, just figured you might want to know the point of view that a lot of people have. I know I'm not the only one who thinks that. if I didn't see threads saying "You might beat a new edge GT, but no way could you take a stock 5.0!" every other day, I would think differently.
oh, and v6's are the main vehicle of choice for all the 16-18 year olds who drive around like idiots and make the cops pull me over thinking I'm one of them, so that adds to it as well.

BTW we (mustangs owners) are suposed to be ripping the Cameros other cars not made by Ford....RICE almost forgot

ya i have talked to some people who assume that the 6 cylinder mustang is slow
but you know what let them think we are slow it makes beating them that much sweeter

You say half the sixer people here can't get a fact straight? Get real. Half? You're just another arrogant GT owner that acts like a playground bully that has to have the big bad V8 show the whole world that you're not a weenie. Sure, let the big engine define who you are.
Let me tell you who gives Mustang owners a bad name. It's the narrow minded, mullet-donning, GT V8-or-die crowd! You're the same mullet-headed backwoods hick that calls the Camaro owners rednecks. You guys are the ones spreading the hate to fellow Mustang enthusiasts, and any other car owner that didn't "reckon to buy a good ol' V8. "
You're the ones with the mental block thinking that you're the fastest cars out there when the GT's aren't always the fastest Mustangs! I have taken out 5.0's and S195's in my stock V6 s197!
What about the 4 cylinder turbo NEON that beats GT's? Or an EVO, or WRX? I've personally witnessed a turbo'd CIVIC run a 12.4 second quarter!! Your GT can't do that! Your arrogant GT attitude is why people dislike Mustang owners because you guys act like you're invincible and then come up with excuse after excuse when someone beats you in a race. Alot of GT guys refuse to believe that a smaller engine can actually make more power sometimes. Heck, check out the racing forum, when a GT posts that they lost to an srt-4, everybody responds by saying, 'well, at least we don't drive ugly Neons.. girls cars.. econoboxes" Rather than give praise, you guys just spread the hate. And the sixers are the immature ones? Right.
There's a green 98 GT driving around my city right now, with stick on "autozone" flames all over the door, a NOS sticker, and a grey aluminum, tall wing. He has a huge windshield banner that says "Powered By Ford". (gee thanks, I thought it must have a Porsche engine), and on the back window, it has a sticker that says "GIT-R-DONE". Now, tell me.. who is giving the Mustang a bad name?

One of the main things in my opinion is jelousy... I person in a mid 90's Honda lowered with like 3 inches of ground clearance is going to be a cocky little douche bag because he's jelous and he's going to talk his amount of $#!T. That's how it is here in orlando anyways.

I also agree about some mustang owners being asses and some other ones are pretty cool. I drove by a guy in a convertable Windveil Blue V6 and honked at him to kind of be like "hey what's up?" and he probably thought I was being an *** so as I was stopped at the light that was right up ahead I saw that he was coming and was going to be turning so, obviously, he was going to pass me so I just held my thumb up toward as he looked by and I looked at the facial expression the guy made as he returned the gesture and it seemed to have made my day! There are deffinitly some cool stang drivers out there.
