Default burning out in a manual

ok i have a v6 manual and have tried burning out. Most of the time it lasts like 4 seconds. Maybe i dont do it right. Traction control is off and i got stock tires. I let the clutch out pretty fast and punch the gas. The motor redlines and i get scared i'll blow the motor. So i shift or let off the gas. Whta am i doing wrong and am i messin my motor up if i hit the red zone?

I dont even use brakes on my V6 manual - and i can get it to go for as long as i want. i rev it a little first, and drop the clutch pretty fast while accelerating in at the same speed about. I usually dont go past 4500 RPMS.

you cant get it to go as long as you want, not even a 7000hp dragster can, your power/speed/tire traction will eventuall catch up.

before i did my posi, i was able to roast first, spin 2nd, and about 2 seconds in 3rd without the brakes.

brakestand
rev
drop clutch
lightly apply brake
hold as long as you want.

Yes, the tire traction will eventually kick in, but ive never had to do the brakes because i dont go longer then like 6 or 7 seconds to save tires (nonsense I know lol)

Learn how to heal-toe. Keeping your toe on your brake and your heal on your accelorator pedal. Rev it up hitting your accelorator pedal then keep a firm but not too firm press on your brake then drop the clutch and hope it grabs more than your tires do enjoy.
