Cool, thanks HurricaneStang. Now, lets say I get T-LOK and 4.10 gears. Would this affect everyday driving too much to warrant getting them?
you will loose 2 mpg and if anything gain some in the city

t-loks are garbage, they were designed for a 120 HP bronco 2/ranger, go with a detroit true trac
what are you an detroit locker rep or what lol. you boast bout the truetrac more than i do.
id rather have someone get a quality part, slightly modded single port sn95s have been known to break tloks on DRs and a 5 speeed

Boss 244 your age is showing ....jejej. In the old days you could correct the speedo by changing the speedo gear....but from 99 on they are electronic so the only way to correct the speedo on a 99-on mustang is thru the use of a tuner or a speedcal (which is essentially a tuner for that only).

I'm having my dealer install the T-Lok and 3.73's for me, will be they be able to do it?

bad idea...dont ask them and i wouldnt have your dealer install them. If they know you have gears, they know you are tuned and that means they will most likely check your ecu. If you are tuned the warranty on your engine is DONEZO! and the gears may throw the warranty of your tranny etc out the window. Plus they will rip you off.

Well, it may be a little late for that. I ordered them from them and they said they could install them, no problem. They quoted $300 for the installation, but didn't say anything about the speedometer adjustment. I'm just going to take it in there with the stock airbox on it and the factory tune and hope for the best I suppose. There are not many other options around here for getting it done that I'm aware of, particularly since I've already purchased my parts.

When i asked my dealer abou that they said they coulnt do any work that wasnt Ford Warranty.....it sounded strange to me but thats what they said. 300 is not that bad for a tloc and gears if they will still honor your warranty after the work. They cant tell the car had a tune by looking at the ecu ..all they can tell is that it was reflashed and that can happen in the factory or at the dealer so ..no problem there. Good Luck

I haven't figured it out, I think my dealer must be fairly cool about mods. They said they'd install the T-Lok and gears, no problem. They said they did the same thing for a 2005 V6 last week. Their parts department even sells tuners for Ford trucks.

I'm still going to take the tune off and put the stock intake back on. I'd love it if they could fix my stock tune for me, but I'm not sure what they'll do/recommend there. I suppose I'll call them tomorrow.
