Paint Remover

Paint Remover
Ok, this morning when I come out of my full-time-real-job, I see that my car is especially dirty (it's been about a month since the last time I washed it), one thing I noticed were these large splotches (about an inch to two inches in length near the front driver-side wheel-well). I figured that maybe a nice wash and wax was in order.
The car looks great, but these splotches are still there. As far as I can tell they can be scraped off, but I don't want to risk damaging my paint-job.
Any suggestions to remove them?

RE: Paint Remover
Make sure when you are claybar-ing that you use plenty of spray to lube it up, and wipe the car with the same motion you would use when buffing wax.
Dont worry, there will be directions on the box. Meguiar's is a good brand to buy.
Also, VERY IMPORTANT!!
When you use a clay bar, it strips all the wax off the car, your paint will be exposed to the elements..
Make sure you Wax your car after you clay bar.
